No. This one tasted bad.
Don’t buy this one.

Radlers are half beer, half lemonade. There is a surprising amount of difference between them too. I suspect we’ve tasted maybe 6 different kinds (most in bars), and one at a bar in Mitte had a nice fresh orange flavor. I can’t normally stand fruit in beer, but clean tasting German beer really works well with the juice.
That said, I’ve tended to avoid them. Alissa likes them though, and they are usually half the alcohol as a normal beer. Perfect for breakfast!
Oh, anyway, this one wasn’t particularly good. Too much sour, not enough “lemon citrusyness”.
I think I’ll stop posting text with the beer updates. This was yet another typical German beer.
Oh, no. No, this one was not impressive in any way.
Maybe I have to start drinking these with some fatty sausage and mustard.
Is it disturbing anybody that my beer adventures are vastly boring? I really expected this to be a bit more fun. I think I may be judging based on the wrong criteria, because all the beer in a particular category (wheat, dark wheat, pilsner, etc) taste so similar, it’s too hard to really note the difference.
This beer was okay.
I just didn’t like this one.
This was another ‘meh’ beer.
“Radler” translates to “cyclists”, which is hilarious when auto-translating websites. But the drink is basically half beer, half lemonade. It’s probably the inspiration for Bud Light Lime. It was interesting to try, but I think I’ll pass next time. The EdelHell was pretty good; it had a nice hop flavor to it.
The rest of these beers were boring, or even slightly undesirable. I got them at a health-food store, so it’s not surprising that these are all bio (organic). Very underwhelming.
This beer just wasn’t very good. Not bad, but not good either. Kinda cheap tasting, maybe.
After the weissbier, this was delicious. Pilsners are delicious. I’m not sure what to compare this to, but it’s maybe not quite as good as the darker beers.
I think I’m going to need more beer under my belt before I can judge.
